“For decades, I pursued achievement, knowledge, and spiritual understanding. As a lawyer, I was accustomed to examining evidence, constructing arguments, and finding answers. Yet the question that became most important to me was deeply personal: Who am I beneath everything I have learned to call myself?
The inquiry led me to examine every identity, label, belief, attachment, and idea of who I should become. What remained when I no longer needed any of them to tell me who I was? At times, even the need to know fell away. There was nowhere to go, no future moment when I would finally be complete, and no one I needed to become. Just awareness.
In that awareness, I recognized a peace that passeth all understanding. I AM grew out of that recognition and my wish to share it with anyone who wonders what life might be like beyond the mind’s programming. Writing as MuRay, I invite you to explore this for yourself.”
Even though the book is finished, the call remains. Ministry doesn’t end on the last page; it’s alive in the conversations, prayer, and lives impacted along the journey. If you’ve traveled a similar journey or are just starting your own, I invite you to remain engaged. There is still more to tell, more to know, and more grace to come.
Join me for a reading, conversation, and Q&A about I AM and the journey behind it. No need to have read the book.
Comes as you are.
